Youth Unemployment

Youth unemploymentYouth unemployment is falling fast.

It's already below the levels we inherited from Labour back in 2010.

It's happening because the Lib Dems in Government have made a massive commitment to an apprenticeship programme to help young people get on in life. We have created nearly a million new apprenticeship places.

At our Party Conference over the weekend Nick Clegg told the story of Kevin McLoughlin. Kevin got an apprenticeship at 15 and now 40 years later he offers young people the same opportunity in his own painting and decorating business.

This week is National Apprenticeship Week and Liberal Democrats are using it to build more support and encourage more take up of the apprenticeship programme.

Help spread the good news?
