Top job

The press team at Lib Dem HQ is full of lovely people. They all work incredibly hard and there are too few of them, but that's par for the course in this party. If a fast moving and challenging job is for you, then you might be interested in being the new Broadcast Officer:

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a thorough understanding of the needs of the broadcast media and experience of working in a busy media environment. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, have a strong news sense, sound judgement and be able to juggle a demanding workload.

Be quick, though, as the closing date is 8th July.

Parliamentarians seeking staff

Secretary of State for Scotland Michael Moore is seeking a Parliamentary Assistant for 9 months to cover maternity leave. (10 July)

Catherine Bearder MEP wants a researcher for 3 days a week in her Oxford office. (12 July)

If you want to work in the beauty of rural Aberdeenshire, Alison McInnes MSP and Sir Malcolm Bruce MP are looking for a caseworker and communications assistant (16 July)

Duncan Hames wants a caseworker in Chippenham (12 July)

Organisers needed

In Chippenham (12 July), Guildford, which we used to hold and which has just selected the highly articulate and lovely Kelly-Marie Blundell as PPC and Woking (15 July) and Sheffield (19 July).

Hurry, hurry, hurry

Jobs with a closing date before Friday include:

An organiser for Camden Liberal Democrats (5 July)

A Volunteers and Fundraising Organiser for Burnley Liberal Democrats (4 July - that's tomorrow in old money)

Part time senior policy researcher for the Welsh Liberal Democrats. It's only three days, so that's two left to spend in the Doctor Who Experience down the road, or in the gorgeous city of Cardiff. (5 July)

I did wonder if a Volunteer and infrastructure organiser, as sought by Bath and North East Somerset Liberal Democrats would have to get building roads, or something. (5 July).
