Mark Dimmock, David Dobbie, Sally Loates, Lesley Rollings and Kenneth Woolley were returned unopposed.

Three more Liberal Democarts were also elected to the Town Council: Harry Clarke, Barry Coward and Richard Craig.

In the one contested ward 9 candidates are chasing 7 seats and 5 of the candidates are Liberal Democrats so Gainsborough Town Council will return a Liberal Democrat administration on May 7.

Meanwhile the Liberal Democrat Team in Gainsborough East of David Dobbie, Vaughan Hughes and Kenneth Woolley, are working to win in the West Lindsey District Council election.
