Lincolnshire Branch of European Movement

European Movement logoA branch of the European Movement in Lincolnshire was inaugurated last week (14. February 2017) at the meeting in Spalding.

The objectives of the Branch were agreed as:

  • to promote awareness of the European Union (EU)
  • to disseminate a positive image of European Union and Britain's role in Europe
  • to campaign to remain a permanent member of the EU
  • to further the aims and objectives of the European Movement by undertaking relevant activities.

The European Movement is a cross party organisation, in existence since 1946 (Winston Churchill was one of the founding fathers) with national branches in other European Countries.
