This week parliament will be debating Theresa May's EU Withdrawal Agreement with a 'meaningful vote' taking place w/c 14 January,

Whatever the outcome, the Lib Dems led by Vince Cable and Tom Brake are calling for a People's Vote on a FINAL SAY. It's really vital that we show support for them and encourage others to demand that their voices be heard.

Join the local Liberal Democrats in the Market Place, Oakham on Saturday 12th January between 10.00 and 13.00

We want to Remain in the European Union and so does the majority in the rest of the country according to the latest polls.

The 2016 referendum was corrupt according to Venice Commission guidelines and broke Electoral Commission rules.

The ECJ has ruled that the Article 50 notification can be revoked unilaterally by our government right up to 29 March keeping the exact same status quo. Many people want this notification to be revoked straight away and a new referendum (or general election) to be held when all options have been reconsidered.

Meanwhile it is important to let parliamentarians know that the people will not accept a no deal Brexit or the PM's 'deal' without a FINAL SAY.

Please join us on Saturday.
